Have lunch with a best-selling author
Published on October 11, 2007
New York Times best-selling crime novelist Walter Mosley will be at Murder by the Book for a lunchtime reading. The author of ten thrillers staring Easy Rawlings, MosleyÂs newest novel, Blonde Faith, hit store shelves this week. Easy Rawlings breaks the tragic loner mold of sleuths  instead heÂs a man surrounded by friends (two of whom are missing), ex- and new lovers and a host of other characters. The real mystery for Blonde Faith may be how Rawlings reconciles a personal life filled with fragile, fractured relationships with a professional life of mayhem and murder. Mosley has written more than 20 books, one of which was made into the Denzel Washington film Devil in the Blue Dress.
